On February 25, 2014, I will be part of a volunteer group, on a 10 day journey to Ghana, Africa. The group consists of medical professionals, students, and others taking part on a mobile medical mission project to help improve the health of children and adults in rural Ghana who have limited access to healthcare. Our mission is called the "Americans Serving Abroad Project". We will be setting up temporary medical posts in remote villages to provide basic medical care. We will also be helping out schools in these villages.
